Thank you again for your support over the past couple of weeks for this year's Sherry Fitzgerald BSJ Mini All Irelands. Thank you to our sponsor Darren Chambers and Sherry Fitzgerald for coming on board as our main sponsor.

In total we -
  • had 400 girls playing Camogie & Ladies Football
  • had 473 boys playing Hurling & Gaelic Football
  • played 189 games across 8 pitches in Week 1
  • played 213 games across 8 pitches in Week 2
  • had over 200 players from the U12, U13 & U14 age groups ‘Coaching’ & ‘Managing’ the Teams
  • distributed approx 1600 t-shirts, 700 Footballs & 650 Sliothars

It would not have been possible without the help and voluntary effort of each age groups co-ordinators and coaches, the volunteer referees, the wider BSJ club officials and members, the Players from the 4 Senior Teams who attended to present the prizes and the Parents who helped lift goals and cleared pitches each evening.

As a photographic memory of this years event I would like to thank Paul Lundy (Paul Lundy Sports photography) for sharing the photos of last Saturdays Football finale https://www.flickr.com/photos/lundypauljack/sets/72177720317730861/

In order to run this event a lot of work went on from a couple of months out. I would like to thank the organising group and the reps from each age group who helped organise the individual age groups and codes. I would also like to thanks Anne and Dermot and the Finance committee for their support.

In order to properly evaluate the success of the Minis I would like to find out if the 2 weeks met the expectations of everyone involved. Whether you were a member of the organising group, a club mentor, a parent or a spectator I ask that you take 4-5mins or so to complete this Evaluation/Feedback form. Your feedback will help refine and improve the Minis and help us give the Players an experience that hopefully will live long in the memory.
