BSJ 2024 Strategic Review

Ballinteer St John's GAA Club has been built on the foundation of the work of previous club volunteer members and officers. This work was not just on the day to day running of the club but also on the steps necessary to build and grow the club for the future. This long-term focus has ensured the success of the club in terms of our games, our participation levels and our infrastructure.

We should now look to the future and continued success of the club. The 50th anniversary in 2032 gives us a long-term milestone to aim for. With that in mind I, with the support of the executive, have set up a committee to develop a long-term strategy for the club. The members (listed below) have just begun work to develop that strategy. We are all agreed that the opportunity to contribute views by as many members as possible is absolutely critical. We do wish to do so in a structured way so that we maximise the value of members contributions. Therefore, it is intended at a minimum to hold a series of member workshops hopefully in the October/November timeframe so that members can offer their valued views and suggestions on the club strategy and development.

I just wanted to make your aware of this initiative and of course we will provide much more information ahead of the workshops. In the meantime feel free to chat with any of the members below. I am sure they will welcome any initial thoughts or comments.
