Volunteers Week may be over but our Camogie Volunteers are still working hard! This of course is Hurling & Camogie Mini All Irelands week when so many across the club get together for this brilliant festival of Camogie & Hurling! Well done everyone!
Today we are delighted to shine the light on Jenny Ní Mhuirí Lynch from our 2015 girls! Thank you Jenny for all you do!
Jenny Ní Mhuirí Lynch, 2015 Girls Mentor
Jenny’s passion for and love of camogie shines through in every training session she plans and attends for the 2015 girls. Her drive and will for each girl to get the most out of every training session and match is to be greatly admired. Her attention to detail is second to none, especially when it comes to pitch size and number of touches, again just another example of her dedication to the girls and wanting the very best for them at all times.
Her planning is top notch, always including a sense of fun for the girls and mentors alike…….she has been known to ask mentors to walk around holding a bucket on their head for the girls to strike sliotars into providing great craic for all involved.
Jen sets high expectations for herself as a coach, she leads by example and inspires other mentors within the group. We recognise and truly appreciate all that she does for us as a group of mentors but most importantly for our girls.
Go raibh míle maith agat, Jenny.
Ní neart cur le chéile.
