National Volunteer Week may have been a few weeks ago, but our Camogie Volunteers are still dedicating their time to our teams!  And with it being Camogie week for our juvenile teams it is the ideal time to shine the light on some more of our brilliant volunteers!

This week we are delighted to shine that light on two 2014 girls mentors, Anna Donohue & Eoin Walsh!  Thank you both for all that you do!

Anna Donohue, 2014 Girls Mentor
Anna Donohue, famous amongst parents for her team communications and emoji use, is a fierce advocate for Camogie and for every girl who picks up a hurley, she champions progress, equality, and teamwork at every level.

She doesn’t look for recognition — in fact, she’ll likely try to dodge this spotlight — but we’re shining it anyway. She’s the one who quietly makes sure that everything gets done.

For her work, relentless commitment, and love of the game, we’re thrilled to nominate her for Camogie Volunteer Week.
Eoin Walsh, 2014 Girls Mentor
Whether he's lining the pitch at dawn or offering sideline wisdom Eoin Walsh an essential cog in our camogie community. His dedication is second to none - some might say he lives and breathes GAA.

What makes him special is how he connects with the girls — always getting down to their level, listening, encouraging and a bad joke or two along the way.

A passionate advocate for the sport and a steady presence rain or shine, he’s the kind of volunteer every club dreams of. We’re proud to nominate him for Camogie Volunteer Week — though he’ll probably say he “didn’t do much!”

Thank you Anna & Eoin for your dedication to the 2014 girls, we’re very lucky to have you.

Go raibh míle maith agat!  Ní neart cur
