Yesterday, the girls had the honour of presenting the inaugural Noel Connolly Cup to Club Chairman Conor Dolan, where it will now take its place in the Ballinteer St John’s trophy cabinet. 🏆🧡🖤

What started as an idea to keep our young female players involved in Gaelic football @dublin_lgfa has turned into something far bigger than we could have imagined. A fantastic week of football, friendship, culture, charity and making connections with the Irish community in Thailand, capped off by the BSJ Bahts @bsj.bhats being crowned the inaugural champions! 🇮🇪🇹🇭

A huge thank you to Thailand GAA @thailand.gaa for the incredible welcome and for organising such a memorable tournament and week. To Daragh Connolly @daraghmcon whose drive and support from our very first conversation helped make the whole trip possible, we simply couldn’t have done it without you. 🙌

Our sincere thanks also to H.E. Pat Bourne, the Irish Ambassador, and the Embassy of Ireland  in Thailand for their incredible support and to everyone who helped make our visit so special.

And importantly, the trip helped raise 135,100 THB (approximately €3,600) for Sr Louise Horan and the Good Shepherd/Fatima Centre. A fantastic achievement and something we are extremely proud to have been part of. ❤️
