Féile 2022 at Ballinteer St Johns

Tomorrow, Saturday 23rd April 2022, BSJ will host the Ladies Football Div 7 Group A Féile. This is the first Féile with a weekend format since 2019 and it is brilliant to have it back and to be hosting one of many across Dublin! It is going to be a brilliant day thanks to a huge effort by a brilliant team of volunteers.  

We have 3 teams participating this year, a first for Ladies Football at Ballinteer St Johns. 

Our A Team travel to St Anne's Park (Raheny) and our C Team are in Ailesbury Park (Tomas Davis).  Our B Team are in Marlay Park.

We wish everyone involved the very best of luck and to their mentors who have been with the girls from the start back in 2012 in nursery!

We are looking forward to welcoming Fingallians, St Judes and Naomh Olaf u15 Ladies Teams tomorrow from 9am ! We will have volunteers at the clubhouse from 7.30am and then throughout the day! Thanks you!

Please join us on or near Pitch 2 if you can at 9.45am for a parade, led by a BagPiper, before the first match at 10am on Pitch 1 & 2.  Our girls will play their 3 matches on Pitch 2 and they are really looking forward to it! There will be matches at 10am, 11am and 12am, with a Semi Final at 3.30am. The final is on Sunday at a neutral venue!

All our u15 girls are amazing and we really wish them all the best tomorrow!  It will be a wonderful occasion for our girls and those of our visiting teams.

Hope to see you there to support.  Please encourage our juvenile players to come along throughout the morning, they would really enjoy it and they can dream of and look forward to their day which won't be that long coming around!
