Seniors AFL 1.

The seniors had a 1-point win over Ballymun on a scoreline of 0-14 to 2-7. Indeed, the scoreline does not reflect our dominance. We were 7 to -1-2 up at HT , kicking some outstanding points from play. In the second half we dominated play and went 5 points up only to concede a goal from a high ball that should have been cleared. A further point 2 points from Mun left the game level. However, an outstanding point from a free by Jack Lundy from the side line sealed victory. So a nail biting finish for the large crowd in attendance including the U13 players Best for Johns were David Murray, Jack Lundy, Dave Devereux, Eoin Fitzpatrick and Iain Ó hEithir. We play Cuala away on Saturday at 6-30pm.

Inters. AFLL 4.

The Inters had an outstanding win against the previously unbeaten Thomas Davis on a scoreline of 2-16 to 2-11.We played outstanding football in the first half and lead by 2-7 to 1-3 at HT. but as you would expect from Thomas Davis they came back strongly in the second half. Despite them bringing it back to 2 points we held on for a well deserved win . The evergreen Shane Mc Cann was top scorer with 1-2 from play with Ronan Cullen who is just coming back from a long term injury getting 1-1 from play . We play Castleknock away on Saturday at 6-30pm

Jun A . AFL 7.

Our Jun A team were beaten by Scoil Ui Conaill on a score line of 4-11 to 2-6. Scoil were well structured and lead bt 3-9 to 1-2 at HT. We improved greatly in the second half and was it not for too many unforced turnovers the scoreline would have been a lot closer . However, the lads never gave up trying and they will be looking for a return to winning in their away game on Sunday V St Sylvesters at 11am

Minor A (Div 2)

The Minor A footballers had a hard fought victory against Skerries on Sunday winning out 4.7 to 1.11. We had a slow start going 5 points down however a Dylan Bannan goal helped us fight back and we were level at half time. Skerries started the second half well to lead by 3 with 15 minutes to play. A blistering final quarter saw us score 3 goals through Eoin Walsh, Cody Graham and Jack Long. Our defence showed plenty composure to keep the Skerries attack at bay and a great overall team performance resulted in a 5 point win. A great back to back win having beaten Cuala in our previous match

Minor B . Div 5

Our Minor B team got a walk over from Stars of Erin which was a big disappointment to players and management as they has a great win in their previous game V Ranelagh Gaels on the scoreline of 4-10 to 0-8
