Adult Hurling

This week sees all our adult teams in play-off games.

* Seniors are away to Ballyboden on Wednesday (5/7/23) to see who joins Raheny in going up to Div 1. 7.30 throw-in in Pairc Ui Mhurchù.

* Junior A’s are away to Craobh Chiarain, on Tuesday (4/7/23), in Clonshaugh TI 7.30pm, in a Div.5 relegation play off.

* Junior B’s are away to Nh.Mearnog also on Tuesday (4th) TI 7.30pm. winners will join Portobello in Div.7.

The latter part of the league proved challenging for our three teams, injuries, travel and exams all conspired to make it a tricky end to the season. Despite that, our seniors finished the league with a 3 point win against Whitehall to secure a promotion play-off spot. Our Junior A’s probably struggled most, it proved impossible to put out a consistent squad week on week. After a promising enough start to the season and some notable first half performances, strength in depth was the down fall. The Junior A’s play a relegation play-off away v Craobh Chiarain’s. We played each other  in the opening game of the league, which we lost by 3 points. Our Junior B’s have had a great season securing promotion play-off v Mearnog on Tuesday. The lads had a number of comprehensive wins and are well deserving of their league finish.

Minor & u16 Hurling

Our minors had a fantastic win over Faughs in their last game of the league to finish mid-table in Div.1. This is a magnificent achievement for the lads and the management team. Equally, our U16’s had a outstanding league campaign. Finishing second in Div.1 to Raheny by only a point. No doubt the lads will be disappointed not to win the league as they lost to Judes on the final day by a single score. Well done to all those involved!
